Trinitarians: Can you show me the Scripture that these beliefs are based?

The Divine Person Jesus has two natures He is the Son of God (Divine nature) and the Son of Man.

Jesus was human, with gods soul.

Jesus was fully human and fully God at the same time.

Each nature is full and complete -- He is fully God and fully man.

Each nature remains distinct.

Christ is only one Person.

Update:

Where in the BIBLE does it say that Jesus is fully man and fully God? Did Jesus say that he himself was, or did he say something quite contrary to that belief?

John 14:28 YOU heard that I said to YOU, I am going away and I am coming [back] to YOU. If YOU loved me, YOU would rejoice that I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am.

John 20:17 Jesus said to her: “Stop clinging to me. For I have not yet ascended to the Father. But be on your way to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and YOUR Father and to my God and YOUR God.’”

Some say it is a "Mystery", but really isn't that exactly what the early churches wanted people to believe. I mean, once they started questioning scriptures, they were Exposed!

Trinity is a borrowed concept from the PAGANS...this is a known fact.

They say a Picture speaks a thousand words. Here are many pictures for you to understand: https://www.google.com/search?q=Pagan+trinity&rlz=...

The view that "Jesus was human with God's soul" was actually rejected by the Council of Chalcedon; they stated, rather, that Jesus is fully God and fully man, i.e.,, possessing a human soul.

Christians attempt to make sense of the various teachings of the New Testament --that Jesus is God, that the Holy Spirit is God, that the Father is God, that God is one-- through proposing the theory of the Trinity. In other words, the Trinity, for them, best accounts for the Biblical teachings on Christ.

I, personally, don't see any one unified teaching about the person of Christ or the nature of God in the Bible; I'm only telling you what they believe as I used to believe the same.

    Some passages to check out:

    Jesus as God - John

Trinitarian formula at the end of the Gospel of Matthew and end of 1 Corinthians.

See Luke's birth and child Jesus narrative for Jesus as human.

It is obvious that Jesus is human. There are numerous verses we use to prove that Jesus is also God. But we primarily use His miracles performed as the Son of God. Once we prove that each Person is God, we need an explanation that is more direct than what is found in scripture. The Trinity doctrine is that explanation. It comprises the hypostatic union which is also authorized by scripture in Matthew 16:18:19 & 18:18. So we use scripture to prove that each is God with the authority of the Church to explain how that is possible.

Can you show me the Scripture that says only doctrines explicitly found in Scripture can be accepted?

You can't. That is a doctrine invented by the so called reformers. It's not in Scripture at all.

The TERM Trinity is not in the Bible, but neither is term altar call

    Rapture

    premillenialism

    total immersion

    eternal security

    King James Version

    sola scriptura

    total depravity

    faith alone

    and BIBLE.

None of these terms are in the bible. But moving on to the Trinity...

The doctrine of the Trinity is encapsulated in Matthew 28:19, where Jesus instructs the apostles: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."

The TERM “Trinity” was first used around the time of the 12th Pope, St. Soter (166-175), and the 13th Pope, St. Eleutherius (175-189). Theophilus was bishop of Antioch, and use the Greek “trias”, which was Latinized into “trinitas” about A.D. 180. He speaks of "the Trinity of God [the Father], His Word and His Wisdom ("Ad. Autol.", II, 15). The term may, of course, have been in use before his time.

The teaching of the Trinity predates the canon the Bible by some 350 years. The TERM, which was a development of a pre-existing belief, predates the canon of the Bible by some 200 years. Development of doctrine does not mean something changes, it means it unfolds and is clarified, but never changed or invented.

A lot of them use 1 John 5:7-8,

Which has been shown to be added to the Bible by some random person wanting to support their own interpretations. We know this by looking at the oldest manuscripts of these texts we have...
