To me it really depends on the context and the way in which it happens.

I really disliked the whole grunge era thing. Why take a nice body and purposely hide all the things that make it feminine - makes no sense to me.

I can remember the 70s and 80s and in my mind, that's when things were more appropriate in this regard. People got that you should dress up for a business event, but also didn't have such a problem with real life sexuality or body images. Women wore tanks with out bras, topless sunbathing was more accepted, and showing one's body wasn't necessarily seen as slutty. I still think a woman shouldn't wear leggings and a cut off tank top to a business meeting but I do think that today's standards have gotten way too uptight.
