How do I take down my facebook page?

Go to account menu->account settings->security->deactivate your account

Do you want to permanently delete your account or do you just want to deactivate it? Permanently deleting your account means you will not ever be able to reactivate or retrieve any of the content or information you've added. If you would just like to deactivate your account:

Click the account menu at the top right of any Facebook page

Select Account Settings

Click Security in the left-hand column

Click Deactivate your account

If I were you I wouldn't permanently delete my account I would just deactivate it because you might have a change of heart in the future. Deactivating your account is basically the same as deleting it the only difference is that you can come back whenever you like and all your information will still be there. If you’d like to come back to Facebook anytime after you’ve deactivated your account, you can reactivate your account by logging in with your email and password. Your timeline will be restored in its entirety (friends, photos, interests, etc.). Remember that you will need to have access to the login email address for your account in order to reactivate it.

Go to security and deactivate your account.
