if it took me 2 hrs and 28 mins to run 26 miles, how many miles did i run per hour?

ok so this is isnt my time, but i was just wondering how many miles he ran per hour to get that time, cause that's absolutely insane. i hate math so i don't feel like doing it hahah

    You divide the number of miles run by the time in hours it took to run the distance. This will give you an average speed.

    Obviously 26 miles is the distance.

    The time in hours is 2 and 28/60 of an hour. 28/60 of an hour equals 0.4667 hours Time therefore equals 2.4667 hours.

    The average rate would therefore be 26 miles / 2.4667 hour or 10.54 miles per hour.
