Scientists are investigating it. They have come up with some insights that have made them closer to accomplishing it. For example, they know that ageing is connected with the telomeres of genes. These act as a buffer that protect the gene. However, they get shorter when as we age. By increasing the length or stopping the shortening , we may be able to reverse or arrest ageing.

Yes, we are very close to that becoming a reality. The problem is we will still have ourselves to deal with. The possibility of living for longer periods is enchanting, as long as you don't actually have to do it. When it becomes a reality then it loses it's luster. How would you continue to afford to live if you were old? Why would you want to do everything over and over again? Suicide numbers would skyrocket. Living is tough enough under the best circumstances, how would most people get by with less than the best circumstances? It would become an intolerable prison for most..

NO you can slow it down.You can look really good but your body wears out regardless.
