I hear that yahoo wants to deter people from using it by making a non-user-friendly format. I suspect it is because of the failing system of reporting and appealing of answers and questions. Also, there are a lot of conflicting opinions on the current events section and in the politics section. Yahoo.com is run by liberals, so the liberals who run this site are angry with anyone who doesn't agree with them, so they're trying to deter people from using the site because its causing them to get upset when they see things they don't agree with.
It's sad, but I'm pretty sure that's what's going on.
Good luck anyway. Try accessing the site through yahoo answers UK and Ireland. The format will be back to the old one.

The liberals of course. This new Yahoo Answers in the US really is the worst. I've heard some users call it ''intimidating''. I don't answer nearly as many questions now. When I do answer them, I go to the UK and Ireland Y-A site. I've always answered all English speaking questions anyway. I just wonder how long it will be before they change the Y-A in the UK and Ireland, to the same (Yahoo Answers, on air) way they have it in the US? I'll tell you, it really sucks!
For those not in the US, I'm going to try and post what the new ''Yahoo Answers US'' looks like, just in case you haven't seen it yet.

This new system must be pretty dramatic ? We in the UK and Ireland have not had any changes yet ?
Yahoo seems to think its easier and better to work with,so perhaps its a matter of getting used to it ?
I dont like changes just for the sake of changes without some benefits even if one has to get used to it.
I except its yahoo planners who devised it.?

It wasn't my idea. Maybe after they get the bugs out and, if we all very nicely make some recommendations, some changes will be made. It's really difficult to get around the page now. Everything is all spread out and it's just not easy to use. It seems to take 10 clicks to get anywhere. It's the Yahoo! Answers designed by Microsoft!
