Should I feel bad about this?

So I was on a dating site and met a woman, we talked for a few months and seemed to hit it off pretty good. So I ask her if she wants to meet, she says no because I live in one place and she lives in another and she doesn't want to move. I mention that her profile says she was willing to relocate but she said it's an old profile and she had since changed her mind. Now I don't blame her she was honest and hey it's her loss but she asked if we could keep chatting. I said yes but now I feel like "why the hell did I say that?" It's different now ya know? I don't really know what to say to her anymore. Our conversations used to just flow but now I'm thinking it's gonna go something like... Uhhh... mmm... how about that weather? LOL I'm thinking it's going to get awkward you know? Should I feel bad? Should I tell her "Naah kid this ain't gonna work for me." Then again nothing could happen.

Yes, things might feel a little awkward for a while, because you suggested a bit more than friendly chat, and she didn't want it, but that's no reason to stop chatting, that's if you still want to, best thing to do now is be honest with her, if you're not as interested in talking to her now, because you know this isn't going anywhere, tell her that in a nice way, or stop messaging so often, until it just naturally stops altogether.

it's interesting she'd want to continue talking BUT she might want to see if you are that perfect person for her and who knows if she feels you are maybe she will reconsider then, I'd say if things were going well why not but if you really just are looking for someone to spend time with and don't care about if she has a change of heart/mind then do what you feel you need to. Good things come to those who wait but if you don't have much time i can completely understand that as well. There's always plenty of fish out there.

What is the point of your communication? If you are never going to meet and your objective is to have a relationship then your need to dump her a$$ like a hot potato. You are on a DATING site and not getting a date with her. Move on.

Why should you feel bad, she is the one that misrepresented herself.

There's nothing wrong with sending her a polite email saying that you don't want to continue putting time into an online relationship that has no chance of going beyond that.

Tell her you don't want to speak to her anymore there's no point relationships going nowhere and if you do keep talking the conversation will get repetitive.
