    Hi Honey

I am sorry about the situation you are in but I think it is better if you have an abortion. Think about it you havent got any qualifications, any job, money, home and I am guessing the babies father doesnt want anything to do with the baby. So therefore you will struggle financially and your child wont have a good life. Babies are damn hard work girl did you know that so your not going to be able to date, party, go to school or do much with ur life. They also cost about £6000 a year and unless ur earning over £35,000 a year forget it.

Dont u wanna do more in ur life like go uni and experience being a student, go travelling the world, get a good career, marry first then have children?

It isnt fair to go on benefits and use other peoples hard working cash to bring ur baby up. It doesnt sound like u will be mature and responsible and ur just gonna rely on the government.

    By and good luck xxx

I'm 24 weeks pregnant. I have a Job interview today. I am private renting a house on the little money I do get from my crappy underpaid part time job.

Please don't Just jump to benefits. You are in a great position to apply for a job and to fend for yourself. Your still very early so no employer would know that your pregnant. Which makes it easier for you. Then you can make out you didn't know.

Benefits are a lot harder to get hold of then you think and what you do get is completely stupid. I would rather work my **** of for every penny then get benefits also that way you can teach your child that you have to work hard to get nice things not to scramble of other people.

It's people like me that have to work every hour under the sun at 6 months pregnant to keep a roof over mine and my family's head at the age of 21 and support my own child that have to pay taxes for people who think having a baby is a ride in the park coz of benefits out there.

You'll get a better feeling working hard for your own money then benefits plus they can muck you about a lot

Good luck with whatever you do and have a look

On the government website for what sort of be rifts your entitled to or rig your local council xx

I'm a 15 year old mum to twin girls and I'm not too sure about all of it as my mother had to explain alot to me (and I still don't understand it) but what I gathered was that all parents are entitled to claim for child benefit. Child benefit is £20.30 a week for your first child and £13.40 a week for subsequent children and because you are pregnant and under 18 you will automatically qualify for the healthy start scheme. Although it may be different in Ireland (idk I don't live there)

read this, it may help you.

I can't offer you much advice on this but the reason I really wanted to answer this was to basically tell these idiots who are slagging you off on this where to go. You don't understand her situation whatsoever so do one!

Ignore them beautiful, they don't realize what you're going through.

If you need to talk to someone who understands, just message me! caellaighmaetyldesley@yahoo.co.uk xxxx

As far as I'm aware, none cos you're under 16. You'd need to have your parent claim it for you because you are still a child (in the eyes of the law).

Are you certain of your dates? It's very early to have had a positive test result.

Will you be 16 when baby arrives? Speak with the citizens advice bureau or read the direct.gov site.

    Good luck xxxx

That is really sad if you know you were going to need help then why get pregnant, its really sad and at the age of 15 and having a baby you should of kept your pants up its sad that you are wanting to live off the government get off your *** and get a job.. i think they should make it a law that underage kids should not be allowed to have kids and if they do the kids should be put in a foster home or adopted kids should not be having kids pretty PATHETIC

I dont think you are entitled to any benefits at your age since sex is illegal under 16. You are your parents responsibility now until you are older.

    Good luck.

So you got pregnant just for benefits? Nice, rape the system. You're an excellent example of a great person. /sarcasrm/

How about baby goes for adoption, you get educated and keep your legs closed.

Its all income based. Since you are probably living with your parents you are required to give there income as well. Which could either make or brake your ability to get benefits. But yes there are programs for women not just teens who need help financially. Ask your doctor if they know where to go for help. Good luck to you.

You wouldn't get any I suppose, because you are still in school or should be.

Your parents will have to pay for everything I'm afraid. I don't think they will be happy.
