Giving 2 weeks notice, how does it work?
I'm halfway through my pay period, meaning I already completed 40 hours, I will have the rest of the 40 hours done by Saturday evening. I want to give my 2 weeks notice tomorrow, will I have to stay another 80 hours or will I just stop going after I complete this pay period?

Two weeks notice means you will continue to work for two weeks AFTER you give notice. It has nothing to do with how many hours you have accumulated in the current pay period. It does not matter if your "two weeks" ends in the middle of a week or in the middle of a pay period. Employer must pay you for all hours you work, regardless of if or when you provide a notice.
The point of a two week notice is a courtesy to your employer so they can make arrangements to cover your workload once you are gone.
