Do you believe in the farting cows and the ozone theory?

Before you answer consider this. Buffalo are a bovinae just like the cattle we raise in America for beef today. It is estimated that right now their are about 90 million cattle in the U.S. 
Scientists believe that before America was founded hundreds of years ago the Buffalo population was well over 100 million and some scientists even believe the number was as much as 200 million. Now the buffalo being very much like cattle grazed on grass all day and they farted, belched and defecated all over the place just the cattle was have today in greater numbers.

So the question is, If 100 to 200 million farting Bison were not an ecological problem why are the 90 million farting cows a problem? How can this be?

it isnt the problem in question. The real problem is the industrialization and the destruction of the environment that is the result of it. Look at the numbers of people displaced because of sicknesses caused by factory farming.

Exactly, our planet has had for millions of years, had billions of herbivores and us raising cattle is not even a slight problem, but intensive cattle farming where they are fed corn and soy, and their dung (with all the minerals and nutrients) not recycled into pasture land is a problem.
Free range meat/dairy is good for the environment, and good for us.

Please explain what the "ozone theory "  is supposed to  be and what has the farting of cows got to do with it
