My mom wants to barrow some money?

All my life my mom was an F-ing loser. All she ever did was get high and get laid by every mother F-er in town with no shame. I never had clean clothes to wear and most of the time didn't even own underwear. It's because of a few teachers at school that took interest in me and helped me that I'm even attending college. They still stay in touch with me and I feel like they are my real family.

Now I have a few grants and I'm working and my mom is asking to barrow some money. I hate her so much, she has never even called to check in on me to see how I have been doing. I have a little money but not much and to be honest, I don't want to lend it to her. I know what she will do with it. I feel like telling her to F off but she's the only immediate family I have. Sometimes life really SUCKS. What would you do?

That's a tough one, George. You have my sympathy. If I were in your position,
I'd find a psychologist for her. (Most charge between $150 and $200 per visit.)
That might sound like a tall order. But, because you're working, going to college 
and have some respectable friends, you could take out a small loan if you felt 
it was absolutely necessary. 
Your mom, on the other hand -- from your description of her -- doesn't stand a
"snowball's chance in You Know Where" of borrowing any money.
And because no one can be helped unless they really want to be, it's very likely
you'll know before the end of this year if she can be. 
(If she can't be, then at least you can say you tried.)
