Who is the best military in the world?

The U.S.A. It would take 14 countries put together to even come close to our military power.

The U.S's budget for their military is more the any other military in the world combined. With their annual defense budget at $515,000,000,000, they crush every other country financially. However, this doesn't necessarily mean they are the strongest, but it is definitely a factor that plays to their advantage.

Define Best. Obviously the most powerful is the US. But there are many small countries which have excellent militaries, fully capable of defending their own country in a much more cost effective manner.

The USA has the best military but, the absolute worst Commander and Chief... A great Army isn't worth spit if they're led by man with zero experience or intelligence.

A lot of people think it is the US or China, but the real most powerful military in the world is the combined forces of the European Union, all their soldiers and gear are completely modern, and they have the biggest Airforce, Navy, and Army in the world.

None right now. None could decisively thrash another country's military, atm.
