Sure, look how Religious rule has done in the past and currently is doing in places like Iran where Rape Victims are put to death for having sex outside of marriage. Doesn't matter that they were forcibly raped and had no choice. Or Saudi Arabia where a man alleged a neighbor woman bewitched him and caused him to become infatuated with her, so she was sentenced to death as a witch.
Lets not forget the Inquisitions the Church has held in the past and the thousands that were murdered by the church for being heretics because they believed the earth was round instead of flat.
Yeah, religious rule is really a great idea. You go live under religious rule and leave me be.

God's Kingdom here on earth has come and gone. All that is left now are the remains and leftovers from a meal that was well served. What man needs to do now is wake up and start cleaning up the mess left from the last party that took several thousand years to unfold. And get it ready for the next party that is waiting in the shadows to come to being.

The Kingdom of God is the expression of Jehovah’s universal sovereignty toward his creatures, or the means used by him to express that sovereignty. This term is used particularly to designate the manifestation of God’s sovereignty through the royal government headed by his Son, Jesus Christ. “Kingdom” may refer to the rulership of the one anointed as King or to the earthly realm ruled by that heavenly government.
Do you feel it will be a better form of Government to rule over the earth?
Yes, it will cleansed the earth of everything in opposition to God, it will become a beautiful earth with nothing bad, no sickness, no death, etc, etc.

Eternal...
The kingdom of God is the rule of an eternal sovereign God over all creatures and things (Psalm 103:19; Daniel 4:3). The kingdom of God is also the designation for the sphere of salvation entered into at the new birth (John 3:5-7), and is synonymous with the “kingdom of heaven.”
The kingdom of God embraces all created intelligence, both in heaven and earth that are willingly subject to the Lord and are in fellowship with Him. The kingdom of God is, therefore, universal in that it includes created angels and men. It is eternal, as God is eternal, and it is spiritual—found within all born-again believers. We enter the kingdom of God when we are born again, and we are then part of that kingdom for eternity. It is a relationship "born of the spirit" (John 3:5), and we have confident assurance that it is so because the Spirit bears witness with our spirits (Romans 8:16).
God is sovereign, omnipotent, omniscient and the ruler over all of His creation. However, the designation "the kingdom of God" compasses that realm which is subject to God and will be for eternity. The rest of creation will be destroyed. Only that which is part of the "kingdom of God" will remain.

the kingdom of God is not about stuffing as many people as possible within the confines of a church..
it's about the people out there always being in the context of God's presence...
which is...
people living life and enjoying it, without a consciousness of sin.
Because in Him we live and move and have our being.
