If NOT successful, how will Scotland be affected by the Scottish Referendum 2014?

As you know, the Scottish Referendum will take place in September of 2014. If it is unsuccessful, will there be an adverse effect on Scotland? Will Scotland be thought of as 'that horrid, ungrateful child that tried to succeed from Great Britain'? Or will it continue to be viewed as that beautiful child that we all know and love?

The Scottish people will always be our friends and that is a fact. At least they will have shown the "Pipe Piper" Salmond that he played the wrong "Bag-pipes". Like whistling in the wind.

Have a nice and friendly day yourself.

Grumpy is 100% correct when he suggests that English,Welsh and Northern Irish peoples will not seek vengeance just because of the political ambitions of one man Salmond aided and abetted by Sturgeon.

Salmond who was a former member of the Labour Party has kept the true repercussions and negatives of Scottish independence from his people.

Do Scots people really want to live in the Democratic Republic of Scotland and Shetlands?

Depends on what you mean by successful haha.

Well, Scotland will be a much poorer nation, it will still have the pound and her majesty as their head of state.

it is rather frustrating, I am scottish but dont live there anymore, so i dont get a say! but i would vote to stay with england, we are nothing without the english!

Scotland has a proud history, and it is ridiculous in times of ever increasing globalisation to devolve... it is so counter intuitive

If a yes vote isn't won you can expect Powers to be taken away from scotland and its spending to be cut drastically.

It depends which side of the argument you sit as whether any outcome will be successful or not.......

For the NO campaign a NO vote is successful....!

A No vote WILL be successful because it's obviously what Scots want.
