Is it normal for head hair to become unmanagable during puberty?

So when I was younger my hair was straight and easy, but as soon as puberty hit my hair has been unmanageable and curling in at places & frizzy & unmanageable! Is this normal? Will this go away after puberty?

    I dont think thats normal. ii had the same thing happen to me only during menopause. bbut when I asked the dr she said it was a symptom of low thyoid. Tested me and she was right. Now ii take medicine nnd have great hair. go see a dr.
