What is the Republican plan for health care...?

They have one, but Democrats won't let them present it.

I'd like to hear about it.

The only "plan" they've ever suggested involved preventing anyone from suing for malpractice for more than a 35 cent settlement.

This is just part of the general GOP plan to make the lives of everyone who isn't super-rich fit the Hobbsian description: nasty, brutish, and short.

They think ONLY the rich have any right to food, housing, healthcare, or education. They think ONLY those who get their income from investment should HAVE any income; that the people who do all the WORK should live on a cup of rice, and live in a lean-to built on toxic waste dumps.

They haven't ever passed one, but the ones they have suggested were first, the ACA, which was their plan in 1994 and the Heritage Foundation loved it. The current fantasy is that somehow saving insurance companies money by making it impossible to sue any doctor or health care facility and selling insurance across state lines will solve all the problems.

Texas did tort reform several years ago. Our costs are still climbing and we have the highest percentage of uninsured in the country. Selling across state lines would require some kind of national standard, because the reason a company sells where it does today is that some states have some rules and other states do not.

This is kind of like having a government plan that nationalized grocery stores and then asking what the Republican "plan" for grocery stores should be.

They won't admit it but their followers will. I have heard them openly say, many times, "Die!" They are the ones who want to replace middle class, and working class, Americans with foreigners. The poor conned-servatives simply don't get it.

The Republican plan was a way for every American to be able to afford medical insurance..they also wanted a mandate stating that everyone had to have insurance..

There is none beyond repealing Obamacare!

Which could be considered a violation of the Constitution.

Because Obamacare should be considered 'promoting the general welfare' of all the citizens!

There is H.R. 2300 but it does nothing to address preexisting conditions or lifetime caps.

1. Lower the costs in the first place. Don't allow a company to charge $150,000 for a $5,000-dollar prosthetic for instance. The Democrats didn't even address that garbage.

2. If you want health coverage, get a job and PAY for it.

Um... yeah, that about covers it.

Only the wealthy will have health care. The middle class and poor class will simply go off in a corner and die if they can't pay obscene prices for health care.

It rids the world of the riff raff and keeps the insurance premiums low for the wealthy.
