Have you started buying for Xmas?,?

Yes, Ive been buying throughout the year from sales and Ebay etc. If I left it all til December I'd end up using credit cards and in debt! This way I end up spending about £20-£30 a month which isnt such a sting on our finances. I first started buying through the year 3 years ago when our daughter was born. My other half worked out that buying in the sales and from ebay- saved us £400 compared to the previous year! I love January sales shopping but usually buy ahead for birthday presents. However, I kept an eye on the facebook selling sites and got some bargains, where people were selling brand new unwanted Christmas presents for half the price in some cases.

No I have not started actually purchasing the gifts yet, I have been looking out for things to buy people though and started making ideas of what to get people. I don't start until November. I order everything online in time for it all being delivered. I did this the first time last year and it was great, the only thing I went out for were Christmas cards and wrapping paper.

What tends to happen for me is that i dont really have a certain time where i do all the christmas shopping, it kind of just happens all over the year, if i see something i like for someone, i buy it ad save it for christmas, so i sometimes get peoples gifts in the beginning of the year, in the summer, and near the end of the year aswell:D

I did ALL of my Christmas Shopping for this year (2013) in the first week of 2013.

Yes, two pressies bought so far. Next week I will start buying an item of non perishable food each week as well.
