Why is this wrong or is this prejudice ?

Stereotypes and "statistics" or so my mother says. Personally I find it racist/prejudiced since it's an opinion based upon race and not on the actual individual.

I'm Asian and I'm dating a Mexican, I'm pretty sure I'm only getting away with it because he's well-mannered, manry (or well, more like the son my dad wanted but didn't have because my brother was metrosexual and I never did manage to grow taller than my dad), shares my dad's interests, and has good grades.

It can be about happiness. It doesn't have to have much sex, if it has sex at all.

I've seen couples who have been together for a long time without having sex (one is a five year relationship and they're still heads over heels for each other).

For me, sex was a secondary thing. I'm dating who I am dating for companionship, and well, a little bit more. The person I date, I date because they make me happy. We spend most of our time cuddling, making food together, talking, etc. way more than we have sex. Actually, we don't often have sex. Mostly we love to be near each other and hold hands. I guess you could say we're both friends and lovers as well as partners, and I think that's a good thing and how it should be.

Anyways, I think it's best to reserve judgement about people until you get to know them, and that it's preferable that they try to keep an open mind and box up their prejudice when they meet new people. It's not wrong per se, everyone has prejudices that they can't help, but when you let it get in the way and judge entirely based upon that prejudice, it's a bad thing.

It's a stereotype and it's prejudice. It's stupid. Don't listen to those things. They are never true.
