What is a government shut down?
I've been hearing people say that we are currently in a government shut down, what is that? I'm seeing Facebook posts about it and I heard that all the national parks are shutting down. Can someone please explain to me whats happening? Thanks.

it is because the government have failed to vote on the budget to pay for Government services and is because they want Obama to ditch his Obama care where he is trying to give the poor health care insurances like any other American.
But when the People believe that this is Socialism and that Health care is a privilege and shows that they have made it to the top then no wonder they are prepared to shut down the government to get Obama care ditched.
A american said on this site that he is not going to pay $60 dollars a month for health care for the poor to be given health care insurance for nothing.
It is really beyond belief and this is why we must fight for our NHS and not let the Conservatives take us down the American road.
