Probability Math Question?

If you have A and B, 2 independent events, what would be P(A' u B') ? Would it just be 1? For example, A = .5 and B = .2 ? I'm confused, please help?

    everything outside P(A∩B) is P(A' U B') = 1 - P(A∩B) = 1 -.5*.2 = .9 <------
