Is it not to know the truth?
The entire truth without blemish or diluted. In its purest form.

The problem I have with saying that 'truth' is the greatest desire...
[and it may be at this point in time]...
is that once 'truth' is understood...
[and I do believe it will be at some point]...
what remains as the one great desire?
It would have to be love...
in both of its forms...
"to be loved"...
and "to show love".

To those who answered a woman or some other meaningless trinket, those are the one's who think carnally that the Bible speaks of! But for those whose thoughts go deeper than that, yes, knowing truth in it's truest form would be more desirable! But not only knowing the truth, but seeing the universe from it's inception or to know what's truly at the end of the universe is equally important. There are some questions and answers that are so deep until maybe it's not meant for us to know them, at this time.
