How will the UK cope with the amount of immigrants, when they arrive next year?

Next year, 29 million people are expected to come to the UK from Bulgaria, Romania, etc.

Under EU law they will be able to claim benefits, access housing and jobs.

As it is, there is a severe shortage of housing for UK citizens and are being denied benefits and unemployment is out of control.

What on earth is going on with the UK Parliament?

We need a revolution!!!!

    Don't be ridiculous!

This over inflated exaggerated dross peddled by UKIP and the Daily Mail to people who are totally ignorant of the EU rules and know nothing about other countries is mindless dross!

It's in Farage's interests to make you believe that this is going to happen because if you don't believe it, he has nothing to pull any votes. No economic policies, no policies on education, health or welfare which are now the real concerns. His only policy is based on immigration. He has to concentrate on EU immigration now as the level of immigration from outside the UK has slowed to a trickle under the Tories. The only real threat from the EU is the new accession countries: Bulgaria and Romania. So he has to make these seem a HUGE threat or his cause is lost,

For 29 million to come to the UK from Bulgaria and Romania would require the total population of both countries and a few more besides to move to the UK. Both countries would have to completely empty. Bulgaria's pop is 21.33 million, Romania's pop is 7.305 as of last year.

Now do you see how ridiculous this claim is?

    Joan,

why would they go to the U.K ? Germany is much nearer, just a hop, skip and a jump and they land in Wiesbaden and Frankfurt and there are already 450,000 non German speaking Romanians there, as for the 29 million leaving their countries I really dont think so.

No they will NOT be able to claim any benefits. No benefits without establishing residency and you do not establish residency without WORKING.

Stupid numbers and stupid lies about benefits, they can no more claim benefits here than we can claim benefits there.

    We need an educated electorate!!!!
