Can you have mono without a sore throat?

My daughter was diagnosed with mono a week ago. She is six and is doing great. Full of energy and going to school. I am still waiting for my test results. The only symptom I have is extreme fatigue and major weakness. My throat is only moldy irritated. Not running a fever either. The extreme weakness and fatigue is indescribable. My eyes are heavy and even breathing feels like it takes energy out of me. Could it be mono?

It looks like you have mono. But you and your daughter must have got it around the same time. Mono can be in your system for a long time before it begins to show any symptoms.

Yes, but you probably didn't get it from your daughter. Mono has a long incubation period, about 30 - 50 days. The infection is usually much milder in children than in teens and adults. Odd but true.
