My daughter was diagnosed with mono a week ago. She is six and is doing great. Full of energy and going to school. I am still waiting for my test results. The only symptom I have is extreme fatigue and major weakness. My throat is only moldy irritated. Not running a fever either. The extreme weakness and fatigue is indescribable. My eyes are heavy and even breathing feels like it takes energy out of me. Could it be mono?

My daughter had strep last week and has been taking amoxicillin. Today she came home with a rash all over her body to which the doctor said is a reaction to the antibiotics which also indicate she has mono. I need another opinion here. The doctor said she can resume school and she could play her sports but no wrestling. I always thought you had to rest rest rest with mono. Also we have a baby shower to attend Sunday. Should we skip out on this due to her having mono?

I work in for a grooming salon. My title is "independent contractor." A person in the past was bit by a cat and she was told that work wont cover her injury. What is the deal?

Something very strange just happened to me at the store. All of a sudden I felt very irritated and confused, weak and light headed, I started to shake and all the noises around me were loud. I felt like I was goin to pass out. When I moved I felt diZzy. My hands were shaking and it felt like thiga were turning black. Soon as I checked out I grabbed a candy bar and took a bite. I wasn't sure if I was having a panic attack or sugar attack. I don't have diabetes. I am on Paxil. Been weaning off it for a month.

I barely know my brother in laws girlfriend. Seen her a few times. Never really even had a conversation with her. Last night we went to trivia withthem and she kept making remarks about me not being able to hear well. Now i am a good sport but I dont knwo her like that. I let her keep digging at me. So we leave and she had a few beers I had not had any. On the way home she asks how tall I am and what sisze my boobs are. I was like really? I just answered, "big" and then told her my size and she said , " mine are still bigger." Now I dont hae a problem talking like this with people I know. I reallydont know how to take this.. I think she was getting a little mean about my hearing and a bit personal about the boobs..What do you think? Was she sizing me up> being a ***** is she insecure. What would you think?

Saturday morning I woke up and my right leg on upper thigh was numb.. I can move it and walk but the top feels numb and it goes somewhat to the back of my leg also. My right hand kept feeling like it was tingling ysterday but this morning seems fine. Any ideas? Is this something I should take to my doctor right away or give it time to go away?

I recently used a grub and bug killer of my lawn. I am trying to get rid of a mole the most humane was possible. Normally I dont use any poisons of any kind on my lawn. Now my concerns is if the birds eat the grubs will it harm them? Also is this stuff poisonous to regular worms? I like my worms and noticed today that a lot of birds were in my yard and saw a lot of worms on the surface alot of dead ones. :( I feel truely awful about this.

My daughter is 4 years old and for the last month after she uses the potty (pee pee) she complains that it is dripping. At first I thought It was and we were spending lots of time trying to dry it. Well I took her to doc and she doesnt have an infection. She is still complaing in that it is dripping but its not. I have checked and she is dry. We are spending up to ten minutes at a time in the restroom trying to get her dry. (to her satisfaction) Could this indicate something else?

I printed out some pics and it cut off some of the heads and detail of everything I edited. : (. i worked really hard on these photos. Anyway how do I fit them to the size I will print them out as? For example I had them all printed on 4x6 size. The heads got cut off. Do I crop or what? agh help/ Picnik is shutting down soon and I have a lot to do.

My husband has a scar on his shin from a bike accident when he was a little boy. The kind of scar that is dented in and you know when he got it it was white under the skin. OUCH!! every now and then it gets a sore on it and opens up. I also have a scar on my head that hurts from time to time and sometimes scabs up..What is the reasoning behingd this?

I went to and ENT today and told him I wanted to be tested for Labyrinthitis, and he looked and me and said, "you dont have it." I said how do you know, he said" you just dotn have it" Jerk. I really believe I need to be tested for these because of my history and symtoms. What kind of a DR. do I go to for this. So far none of them are taking me serious and I am going mad.

For 14 years of my life, I am 38 now, I have been on Paxil. When I was 23 out of nowhere I started to feel really weird. Different. Not like myself. I felt dizzy, when I walked I felt like I was on a downward slope. I felt like I was dreaming, not fully awake. I tried to explain best I could to the doctor. He says, are you depressed, I say , No , but I am sad that I feel like this. I just want to be myself again. Mind you I have had ear issues all my life. I now wear hearing aids because I have lost hearing. Well "mr young doctor" gives me paxil. And it worked. I never question what happend to me because I was so relieved to be myself.Well fourteen years later I am still on it. Tried to tell doctores I think its my ears . i thnk its labrynthitis. There are so many facts that make me believe this. I have major ringing in my ear, I have lost hearing, I read all the symtoms and they are a dead renger, no pun intended. My question is though, How do I get my now doctor to listen to me. To help me with my ears to get me off the paxil. I tried to tell my previous doctor and she did not care she did not listen. She said well at some point you were diagnosed with depression. I never was diagnosed with anything. they just gave me pills. I need some support. Tomorrow I AMGOING TO SPEAK WITH MY DOCTOR AND i AM SCARED. I want to be heard and taken seriously.

I have had some really bad pain the in my stomach forr a couple years. within the last year it has gotten worse. numerous tests. Tests showed thickened walls of gallbladder, and fatty liver. My doctor is not concerned about either. Im pretty sure this is whats causing my pain. Anyway long story short. He, the doctor had prescribed some pills for me of which he said were for pain. well I took them for a month and when I went back he prescribed me three more months worth .They didnt help and I dont want to take them anymore. When i first filled the prescription I didn"t read the paper that comes with it. i just took the doctors word. This last friday I wanted to know exactly what I was taking and it is call Nortriptyline. It is an anti-depressant. That freaked me out. As i already take Paxil and I am trying to get off it. I dodon'tant to be on another one. I am upset because My doctor did not inform me of what exactly I was taking. I dowon'tee how an antidepressant has anything to do with ststomachssues. This doctor is a gagasteroenterologistwhy would he prprescribehis for me. I have since stopped taking it. dumped it all out. somebody enlighten me.

this confuses me because how can you lose inces and no weight? Apparently this is what i s happening to me. i started working out at the gym four months ago. lost seven lbs. right away. i havent been able to lose anymore. well i can tell my clothes fit different, i look a lot different and people have noticed. thats cool i shouldnt argue with it. but i still feel bad when i look at the scale. Im 38, had two kids and weigh 143 on a good day and im barely 5ft 3in. can someone explain this to me. and my doctor keeps saying im fat and i should eat only one meal a day. well i am not fat and sure as hell not going to eat once a day for vanity.

I am 38 and need something geared toward my age. And honestly I cant afford the high end creams. I am actually looink for a moisturizer with a sunscreen and some wrinkle reducing cream all in one, I dont want a buch of seperate jars. ususally I just buy a moisturizer. I have fine lines around my eyes and some dark circles and tips for this will be much appreciated too. i also have soem dark sun spots and would like something to fade those. I know I will probably end up with a bunch of different bottles of stuff but thats the price of beauty. thank you for any and all input tips and ideas ladies.

Went to eye doctor today. I have astigmatism and obviously need glasses. Picked out a pair and they said they would be ready in six to eight weeks. WTF takes so long? Especially these days. DAmn

I have a bissell vaccuum. It takes a style number 8 replacemnet filter. I got arm and hammer brand and dont know which way to put it in because there is a white thing on one side of both the sponge filter and the cartridge filter. what is this thing? Am i supposed to remove it. The original filters didnt have that on them.

I do cardio, walking , biking and running and I cant seem to get anymore than four lbs. off. Then I put it back on. I keep losing and gaining the same four lbs, I am going to give up because its frustrating the heck out of me. Been doing this since February. Help. Pointers tips anything,

I just started walking on a treadmill and doing elliptical and when I get off I am slightly dizzy and off balance. Is this normal. Is this something I will get used to or will go away?

I have been working out at home for a year or so. I do kbell ,cardio videos, walking , and bike riding,. My question is what machines are good to target my upper pudge. I know nothing about the machines. So far I have done the elliptical and bikes. my lower body isnt in need as much as my upper. I got a spare tire that wont go away. any tips for me? I am 38 , 147lbs and am in over all good health. please be nice.
