When will I grow? I'm in 8th grade?
I'm 13 in 8th grade, I weigh about 110 lbs. And I was wondering when I'm gonna grow? Most of my friends at my school are around 5'7-5'10 and I'm only 5'4, all the girls in my grace are about 5'7 too, sometime they make fun of me for being short, it's more of a tease though, cause we've known each other for like 3 years and were all really tight so their not actully trying to be mean to me, they just kinda tease me sometimes, and I was wondering when I'll grow because I want to be at their height and date girls and stuff and it's really hard to when I'm like 5 inches smaller, I'm also really into basketball and everybody says I'm the 2nt best kid at our school, right next to the 6,3 guy of course, and I really want to improve my game and get a girlfriend and just not be so short and feel so weird around them, so I was wondering if u could tell me when I'll start to grow more and begin to be their height, I'm going into high school soon and I really don't want to have to be that short around all new people and I want to make a good first impression, so could you please tell me, my dad is about 6'0 and my mom is 5'6 (he's 24), I have a step brother who is 5'9 and done growing and another full-blood brother who is about 6'0 and still growing (he's 17), do could you tell me when I'll grow and what height I'll be at the beginning of freshman year, and any tips you have would be greatly appreciated.

Forget all about what the other kids at school are doing growth wise - YOU are right at the start of your puberty and you have a good seven years in which very nearly all of your growth will take place AND complete itself - and it's all going to happen according to YOUR genetic pattern, not theirs - and that is why it doesn't matter WHAT state of growth your friends are in

Actually being in 8th grade at 13 is pretty good
many of the other kids may be 14.
Being 5' -4" is actually good at 13 = you are no way late
you are WELL into puberty, you've had your first growth spurt
you are moving into muscle growth stage NOW.
You will have a pause to allow muscles to build
then you should get another height growth.
Ease up = at 13 you are doing fine = it will all happen
but in High School you will be competing with 15 year olds
and yeah = girls always start puberty ahead of boys..

All of the girls are not 5'7". The average height for adult women in the Western world is about 5'4", and the average height for men is about 5'9". Your height is well within the normal range for a guy your age.
Guys grow slowly but over a long period, so you can continue to grow into your early 20s.

As a freshman in high school, I was about 5'5 and at most 105 pounds. I'm currently a senior, 6'0 and 160 pounds. I did most of my height growth during sophmore year and a majority of the weight came last year. Lots of people grow late, its a normal thing.

You're not going to be really happy with my answer.
Nobody has any idea if or when you might grow taller - because your genetics have already pre-determined what your final heigh will be.
Genetics rule - you cannot re-program genetics.
You cannot MAKE yourself grow taller.
You must learn to have patience - & wait to see what all develops.
You will not finish puberty until at least age 21 - or later.

It is always possible you'll still grow. You grow until your growth plates are closed. Also you can not make yourself grow, sorry to say that but it is true...
