Corrected other example:
Ben likes football and cricket.

Sentence 1 is correct; you're talking about the hobbies of Ben. If you would use the pronoun HIS, i.e. his hobbies include ... then you must use the possessive form of the noun.

Barbara is correct. You need to use the possessive form for Ben which is formed by adding an apostrophe and "s" as in Barbara's answer, the dog's bowl, John's brother, or this car is our's .

Those are both the exact same sentence except that you left out the apostrophe in the second one.
