Is it possible to separate sugar from Coca Cola through the process of distillation?

Curiosity inspired me to ask this question.Is it possible?

    You don't even have to distill it unless you want to save the coke. Boil it away in a saucepan and anything solid - like sugar - will be left in the bottom.

    What are you asking? Are you asking if you can ferment cola and distill alcohol from it? Not very easily, the acidic level will kill yeast at teh beginning and the high fructose corn syrup will require massive amounts of yeast or a turbo yeast.

    You could make crap booze if you really tried, but sugar and water (popskull monkey rum) would give you slightly less crappy booze for a lot less work and money.

    If this is not your question then the big picture is you could separate water from cola through distillation and that's about all.
