The name of a British travel agency from the early 1900's?

There was a British travel agency that I used to hear about all the time in the early 1900's, but I can't remember it's name. It may still exist, for all I know. But if some Britisher were out in a colony somewhere, perhaps India, and someone else asked them who had made their travel arrangements, there was a stock answer of, "Oh, ____ handled it." And the same name came up over and over. Does anyone know what that Company's name was?

Update:

I am grateful to you for your response, but I don't think it is Cook's.

Update 2:

Nor is it Pickfords or P

I think you may be referring to Thomas Cook who was the first organised travel agent in the world and introduced travellers cheques and coupons which could be used in the hotels listed in their Tourists Handbook, one below at link .

Thomas Cook arranged his first tour in 1841, during the 1860s he took parties to Switzerland, Italy, Egypt and United States. In 1872, he formed a partnership with his son, John A Mason Cook, and renamed the travel agency as Thomas Cook & Son.

By 1872 Thomas Cook & Son was able to offer a 212 day Round the World Tour for 200 guineas. The journey included a steamship across the Atlantic, a stage coach from the east to the west coast of America, a paddle steamer to Japan, and an overland journey across China and India.

    The company does still exist.

Perhaps Pickfords, which was a moving company rather than a travel agency.

Another possibility is P & O - Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company, which ran cruise and passenger ships to various destinations around Europe and the British empire.
