The same happened to me. Ł79 was withdrawed from my account. I contacted amazon customer service via chat. They cancelled my prime membership and said they refund. Went like a dream, no problems.

This is the email they sent:

As requested, your Amazon Prime membership has been cancelled. Since you haven't used your Prime membership benefits, you'll get a full refund of £79.00.

just called amazon about cancelling and refunding the cost of my prime membership.. IT took about 5 min and I got the email stating that the full refund I will be here in 2-3 business days.... The membership was cancelled as well.... Very easy and fast...

I had this happen today. I woke and got a text from the bank for $80 and then I was like F***... If you haven't already, go to Amazon contact(You cant just contact them. You select what kind of support you need and put your number in and then you get a call.) As long as you haven't used it while a member, they will cancel it. It took no more than 5 minutes. She canceled my prime and told me I would be refunded in a couple business days.

Very fast and friendly, I googled Amazons prime membership number, called and explained I forgot to click the "do not continue". The customer service rep refunded the payment less than five minutes.

Now that they've raised the price, the cancel automatic renewal (link) just leads to a page where you can't do anything. Amazon has gotten lots and lots of money from me over the years, buying items using Prime. They've now lost a long-time customer. I'll spend my money somewhere else. I urge you to join me in abandoning amazon.com.

The same exact thing happened to me, i went to their contact page and chose to "chat" with a live representative. he was very polite and extremely helpful. i explained i did no longer wish to continue my membership and i was wondering if i could get a refund and i had an email confirming my refund in less than 5 minutes. it was great.

hello i did not register for amazon prime membership but they took 99$ from my visa card ,i refound almost 7 days ago but they did not send the money.what should i do ,I'm not in the usa
