More poeple will get the FREE Medicaid - a continuaton of medicaid expansion.

The Affordable care act allows states to expand medicaid eligibility.

Most SSDI recipients do not receive Medicaid. They have to wait 2 years to get medicare.

ALL SSI recipients receive mediciad. SSI is federal welfare, not social security.

    Not directly.

However, the ACA will result in a large increase in the number of welfare recipients in many states. There will also be a decrease in the number of doctors willing to accept welfare patients because of the reduction in payment to those doctors. This will result in much longer waits to see a doctor and shorter visits once you do get an appointment.

Not directly.. It will also not directly affect people on Medicare or most working Americans who already have medical insurance..
