I don't understand this- help plz?

If 9.8 - 5.29 us changed to 9.8 - 5.30 = 45 what must be done to 4.5 to get the exact same answer for 9.8 - 5.29

    9.8 - 5.30 = 4.5

    Add 0.01

    9.8 - 5.29 = 4.51

    whaaaa maybe add 0.1 or 4.6/4.5 then times this number by 4.5 or divide it when doing 8.8-5.29

    You are subtracting less, so the result will be more. It will be 1 cent more, actually.
