Why is it wrong for WWII vets to visit the WWII memorial but it is OK for Nancy Pelosi to have a big rally for ILLEGAL aliens in the same Washington, D.C. mall?

Two points.
1. the memorial. Obama, Pelosi and Reid wanted to make a point no matter who it hurt, even those who have more than earned the right.
2. the rally, Obama, Reid and Pelosi wanted to pander to the potential voters and their families should they gain amnesty.

No one said it was "wrong" for them to visit. The problem is, they were part of an organization that brings vets to DC to tour, and they had the bad luck to arrive when the government shut down--which meant all national monuments.
They have, of course, since been allowed in. As were the people at the immigration rally.

These vets came down for a memorial before the government shutdown so they had a bad luck because they might come there for nothing. They are allowed in right now.
