in my new laptop windows 8 it tells me the ap need permission from the camera app to use it how do I do this?
When I X on camera app it says I can get permission from app settings. I see settings but when I ask for the camera app I just get the same window stating the app needs permittion
Thanks for answering but when I open settings I can't find 'permissions' What am I not doing right?

Check your settings to make sure the camera has permission. Open the Charms bar by putting your pointer at the top right corner of your screen then dragging it down. Click Settings, then click Permissions and make sure that the "Webcam and microphone" is set to On.
Edit:
Make sure that you're running the camera app at the same time. The Settings are contextual so if you're not in the camera app when you pull open Settings you won't see Permissions.
