Help with blogspot blog comments?
I have been posting for about 6ms. now, and have had a very respectable 7,000+ hits. But only 14 comments, and 1 follower. Some of my friends say they have wanted to leave comments, but they "Have to sign up for something" first, so they don't.
I want to make my blog as welcoming to comments as possible, and have gone to settings and done everything I can think of.
Anyone have any idea what the problem is?

To limit spambot comments, which can get way out of control, some comment systems are setup to only accept comments from someone who is signed in to some credentials account, like facebook.
Looks like you can instruct people to comment using anonymous in order to avoid having to sign into something.
I don't know the source of your hits, hopefully you didn't pay for traffic which might just be software robot hits.
Improving your search ranking would help, one tool reports there are just 3 sites making a total of 6 links to your blog, getting more backlinks would certainly help search ranking, which brings legit interested readers.
