How to lower center of gravity on a motorcycle?
Say you are building a sport bike how would you lower the center of gravity to ad performance and handling?
I have an idea of a fuel tank under the seat... Or even under the engine... Fuel is heavy!
I understand that the fuel tank is on the top because older motorcycles fuel system was gravity feed... That is not the case anymore with fuel injected bikes...
What do you guys think???

MotoGP bike have not had the fuel in the "tank" for over a decade now. The "tank" is 90% air box.
There was the 1984 NSR that Spencer rode but sadly it was a failed design.
The real problem is getting the bikes to handle good with a full fuel load, half race distance 7 beyond is not a problem.

Wiggysan has a perfect example, hands down he has a great answer. A general rule for performance questions, look to the pros. Nice image Wiggysan.
