Is anyone else having problems with Yahoo mail?

I have ads and other things that cover up needed places to be able to manipulate the site. I have spam emails that show up at the top of my regular mail and some are really nasty ones and embarrassing should someone else be looking at my screen and I can't get rid of them. As soon as you X them out, another one takes its place. And now they have put something over the listings on the left of the screen that is sorta invisible but it makes it impossible to go from an email to home and get the entire list of emails. I hate to change my email but will if there is no solution. And yes, I have tons of pop up ads that throw me right off the site. I've run my virus scan and it is a good one and it says I have no problems. I'm at a loss but it is really ruining reading my emails.

Yes, I absolutely HATE the threading of everyone's mail being clumped into one mess. And when I send an attachment, it disappears into cyberspace and now I've got 30 people wanting to know where it is. I love to type in color and italics, and the mail refuses to let me do that most of the time.

Otherwise, the mail is simpler and I rather like it...except for the message threading. It's nice ONLY when talking back and forth to someone, but when everyone is on the same thread.....it's maddening.

Towanda.....download AdBlock Plus. I'm serious....be sure and choose the right one for your browser, whether it's Chrome, IE or Foxfire. NO more ads.....you will be delighted. It does not slow down or interfere with your computer and it's free and quick to download. You will thank me.....(smile)

Pop ups.....if you're on IE, click on TOOLS at the upper right of the screen. Click on pop ups and block them. The email is running one ad at the top of the page that we cannot get rid of, but they are no way embarrassing....we have to live with that one for it is Yahoo doing that one.

I hate the new format where I have to look at an entire history of my emails with a person in order to answer an email and I hate the fact that if I go to the bottom of the page with my cursor, I have to either hit escape or immediately scroll back up to get back to email. Ads are ridiculous and formatting should have choices.

Let me told you, Yahoo is sabatoging all Yahoo users. The problems are so many fold and Yahoo refuses to admit their error. I cannot even open my e mails. As far as going back to the older Yahoo, forget it. Yahoo tells us that will only be avaible for a short period of time. One would think that would be because Yahoo thinks they can iron out all the deficenties, Ha! That would take another life time. nd do you think Yahoo cares if a few hundred or so leave Yahoo? Dream on.

I have the same thing. I simply went to outlook and opened up another email account and notified those I wanted to email me there. Finally it went away but I still use that account for people that send me things I don't trust so much or too much email and I give it out to any site that requires an email and then mark their stuff as spam and simply glance over the spam account and then delete it page by page.

Yes, I have a lot of problems since Yahoo changed to their new designs. Good alternatives to Yahoo e-mail are more than welcome!
