why am i constipated?
Normally, I am able to go every morning and don't have problems with constipation. Strangely, whenever i eat healthier (more veggies and less junk food) and/or exercise and drink more water, i have trouble going the next morning. Usually when someone is constipated, they are advised to eat more veggies, exercise, and drink more water. But why is it that i am getting constipated when i do those things?

Keep a food diary, along with records of your water intake and your exercising, and the effects on your digestion. Possibly you're perspiring enough to need a lot of water.
There are vegetables and vegetables. Potatoes, rice, and lettuce don't do much to prevent constipation. Do some research on Google to find out the vegetables that have the right amount of fiber to help your digestion work normally.
My advice: Get up fifteen minutes earlier in the mornings. Eat a breakfast that includes oatmeal, perhaps with a few raisins, small walnut pieces, or apple chunks added while it cooks. If you allow time to visit the bathroom before you leave the house, you'll be more comfortable all day. If you suppress the urge because you're in a hurry, your colon will continue to absorb water, and your BMs will get stiffer and stiffer inside you.
Also do some research on Google about "constipation". You can get a lot of helpful information there. Concentrate on lifestyle changes, not patent medicines.

Who knows. Are you on any medications that may cause this? I've been prescribed meds that gave me quite a bit of constipation. These days I just take a fiber supplement in the morning, and drink a glass of cranberry juice daily. This keeps me regulated and I never have constipation anymore.
But it could be from a variety of things.
