Where do you think you will go after death?
I've often thought about this touchy topic because let's face it, our years go by quickly and eventually we all are going to die one way or another. The thought of existence has been always puzzling and controversial, and usually leads to more questions than answers. So where do you believe we/or you will go after death? Do you believe that your memories, emotions and mind will cease instantaneously; Or do you believe that that you will continue on in the afterlife?
Make sure you:
-Answer the question with your personal opinion
-If you want, use religious/scientific evidence

My church teaches a lot about earthly life and after death (and we even believe in a premortal life before we came to earth). This might take a while to explain, but I would highly recommend taking the time to read it as it is very interesting.
Premortal Life: Before we came to earth, we lived with our Heavenly Mother & Father. Our Heavenly Father presented a plan for us to go to earth, be tested & gain a physical body, and then return to Him one day. Satan rebelled and 1/3 of all the hosts of heaven were cast out. Jesus said he would follow the plan and was chosen to be our Savior (die for our sins so we could return home to our Heavenly Parents).
Earth: When we came to earth, we had a veil placed over our minds so we can not remember the Premortal Life at all. On earth, we are to be tested and tried so that we can progress and one day become Gods. Christ's atonement provides a way for our sins to be forgiven so we can be clean spiritually and return home.
After life: When we die we stand before Jesus to be judged. We will then be placed into one of three kindgoms according to our works. Everyone who comes to earth (except sons of perdition) will go to a kingdom. After the 2nd coming our bodies are resurrected and we will live forever as Gods.
We believe that Hell is only temporary, and is a chance after death for those who were not taught the gospel to give them a chance to accept Christ and His gospel. Remember that 1/3 who were cast out of heaven in the premortal life? They go to Outer Darkness, which is a more permanent hell and never receive a physical body or go to a kingdom.

It has nothing to do with belief, speculation or discussion. It has to do with investigation. A discussion lasting for several centuries won't give a person what he or she can find out through real investigation. The trouble of course is that so many people want instant evidence; they'll say (regarding the afterlife), "OK, prove it to me!" But it doesn't work that way. The evidence of the continuity of life exists but it has to be found through metaphysical methods - not through the physical methods of modern-day scientists. The ancient Vedic ("Hindu") tradition of India taught (teaches) the old methods of meditation and "pranayam" (life-force control) through which one can learn to leave the body at will. People have used LSD and ayahuasca (as they do in South America) to get these same results but not many people want to take those substances. Others have used the sensory-deprivation tank - some of them have learned to leave the body and there has been much written on the subject. What one eventually comes to learn is that the years do not go by at all and that we do not die at all. Why? Because we're not the body - we live IN the body but we cannot say, "I am this body!" As for time, that's an illusion. It's a convenience for us to be able to say, "I'll meet you at 2 o'clock over on the corner on April 12th." Since we both will be using the same standard of "time," then we will both arrive there at the same time. It makes it convenient. But so many people don't seem to understand that such designations as "1956" or "1824" or "2013" have no absolute value. The combination of believing that "time passes" and that we're the body creates a huge illusion that most Westerners are not able to extricate themselves from. It creates a terrible situation in which they believe that they're actually "growing older" due to "the passage of time." In fact, the body is aging and eventually, of course, it will stop functioning completely and they will experience what has come to be known as "death." We continue on forever - where, exactly, is up to us. The Christians of course have their ideas about it but since around 1900 there have been teachers coming to the West from India to show people that their so-called "religion" is in error, to show them what happens after "death" and how to find out what that is. What most people do not know is that (real) religion is a science. Christians are shocked by such a statement and I've seen a number of popculturists laugh at the idea, but it's real nevertheless. The science of religion refers to the fact that there are ancient yogic methods of meditation through which one can come to know -- through actual experience -- that actual death is impossible and that when the body ceases to function, we simply leave it. We're not bound by so-called "time" at all because the soul (that is, we ourselves) do not exist in time. We simply exist without beginning or end. But one has to find these things out - and I think that's the real issue. Not many will pursue this; most prefer to go on debating. But a few people wil go in search of the truth of the matter ...

You can learn and know the answer to this yourself. In 1963 the original Aramaic scrolls, the source for the gospel of Matthew was unearthed in Jerusalem. Although tremendously heretical, research will confirm their genuineness. Unfortunately there are people who automatically dismiss this document out of their own ignorance without any research whatsoever.

I really don't know, we could all cease to exist or there be an afterlife for all I know.

You either go to Heaven or Hell. I believe I'm going to heaven for the sole reason that I've accepted Christ as my savior. Not my good works or anything else.

I KNOW that Like every other person who dies,
I will be going to HELL (which is the word the KJV uses for your GRAVE)
