if i copy a game on a flash drive will it work on other pc?

So if i copy a (already installed on my PC (its derictory (the place where i installed it))) game like Battlefield 1942 or Call of Duty 1 on a flash drive will it run on other PC lets say school computer or any other PC in that matter? If no what should i do?

Update:

Anything else the other PC should have like DirectX (it has DirectX), C other? for it to run lets say BF1942

    mostly it works if the later PC has required direct files installed and also vc runtimes are needed for some games.

    It will definately work if you copy whole directory without losing any of its file, it must contain all files of game and application software. But most important it must meet the SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS.

    Yes it would just get the setups and whatever program it requires to work with it too.
