How do you make someone hurt listen to you?
I lost someone dear to me recently. Dont worry, Im not asking you to take my side. If you wanna be angry at me, its alright I cant forgive myself either. Its not just because I want her back that I want her to listen. Its not even because I wanna rid myself of this pain. What I feel, what I am going through, is only right. Im the one who lied to her. And one lie! That one small lie, can bend every other truth. Truth that I want her to see. But I dont blame her, she is too hurt to even open her mind up if not her heart and I am afraid that she will never ever open her mind again.
And no! Its not because I wanna absolve myself from this pain. Its more of I just wanna undo the hurt I caused her. I want her to just be happy again. That matters more to me. More than anything. Way more than I wanna feel better about myself. I love her that much.
So much, I will pretend that I am going on with my life. She does not need to know that I cant even sleep without being drunk. I dont want her to be guilty for me. I dont want her to take me back because of that.
If ever there will be one reason Id like for her to come back, its that I can still make her happy. Its all I ever cared about. Then, now, even when I did what I should not have.

If she's that hurt you trying to get her to see the truth won't make any difference. It may even make things worse. Give her a few weeks or months and approach her with your tail between your legs, with an open heart and mind and very simply state what was the lie and that everything else was the truth. Do not beg or over complicate things. And do not keep saying that you just want her happiness, because to her, if you really wanted that then you would not have lied in the first place. Just give her time.

I do believe just by describing the mistake that you made, admitting it, and clearly showing that you care so much about this girl that you answered your own question.
The problem (obviously) is that you need her to listen to you. So go and talk to her face to face. But make sure that you really mean it. If she tries to walk away from you, follow her or stop her, and just tell her in a calm and sincere voice: "No, this has gone long enough, and I really want you to listen to me. At least give me that chance. After we talk and understand each other, either satisfied or not, you may choose to ignore me if you wish. I care to much about you, and I can't stand the fact that you are angry/sad/disappointed specially by me, and I truly am sorry about that... ". After this, just explain yourself to her, and hope that she forgives you. Also, no matter what happens, when she makes a fact or accusation that perhaps is not true, don't raise your voice, not even a bit. Simply stay calm, and always talk with a calm and soothing voice that always shows reassurance and reason.
