Horror flic from the 40's?

I'm trying to remember a film; I think it had the word "CAT" in the title. One of the characters -- not the main character; in it was a big, ugly guy (maybe his name was "CAT"). (I'm guessing that he might be Scandinavian by birth) I think his real name started with an "H".

    I think you're referring to Rondo Hatton, but I"m not sure of the film without more information. He isn't in any films with "Cat" in the title. The majority of Hatton's films were made in the Thirties and Forties.
