I have been on this planet for 80 years . I have seen a lot, heard a lot; I won't have ALL of your answers, but I may be able to help you through my experiences.

  • My Brother up and died on me on Tuesday?

...he was 76, and probably my best friend, but, he greived a long time after he lost his wife of 53 years. He went from a vibrant, healthy man, to a frail, ugly, skinny person that I didn't even know, in only 3 1/2 years.

My problem is; at his funeral there were a lot of tears, even from his four children, ages in their 40's and 50's. But, I couldn't show any, but, then I never could openly cry. I did shed tears as soon as I got home though, and when I was trying to comfort his daughter-in-law (her husband was at work) when we rushed in to find him still; I had a lump in my throat. Maybe it's because Dad always told me, when I was growing up, that it wasn't "manly" to show emotion in public.

I'm wondering if some of the two hundred or so of the others thought that I was being hard-nosed.

Good-by Bob, I love you !!!! Say hi to God for me.

    Thank you.

  • I have a finished book novel, and have a question?

about posting numbers, and dates. I have heard two different views, and don't know which way to go. Should they be A) written out, as in January, sixth, two thousand fourteen, or, B) written as numbers, such as 1, 06, 2014, OR, January, 06, 2014. I need to edit it before I submit it to an agent.

I would like this from established writers, and those who KNOW the answer.

    Thank you.

  • Question about '05 Chevy Cobalt?

I bought this car 6 months ago, and ever since, I've had a headlight problem. One's too high. I know there's an adjustment on it, but, How do I lower the headlight; run the adjusting screw up, or down. Also, I'm having a hard time keeping my digital read-outs light, lit on the instrument panel. Thanks guys, but only those who know how to fix my problem. Have a good day.

Due for Cataract surgery next month, but, I'm due to see the doctor at the Cleveland V.A. hospital on Monday for drops first. My problem is, I need dark glasses, and can't find any anywhere. The drug store has some, but they're not dark enough, and have no side panels we have a medical supply store near me, but they don't carry them.

  • Horror flic from the 40's?

I'm trying to remember a film; I think it had the word "CAT" in the title. One of the characters -- not the main character; in it was a big, ugly guy (maybe his name was "CAT"). (I'm guessing that he might be Scandinavian by birth) I think his real name started with an "H".

  • A password question I need?

Here's a hard one for you -- what, one, word is mispronounced, misspelled, and unnecessarily hyphenated. I've been racking my brain trying to think of such a word. Any experts out there who can come up with the right answer

  • I watch Matlock on T.V. every morning on Chcago's television and?

I have seen every episode at least twenty times; I wonder how much longer they're going to run it, but, that's not my question.

In every episode, he (Matlock) goes out and investigates clues himself. This just doesn't sound plausible to me. do actual, real attornies do that? I wouldn't think so!

why do pants, made for women, have a fly. They can't pee like us guys -- unless they can use one of those "stand-up" urinating devices that they supposidly make.

  • Please refresh my memory?

About a little girl that was abducted from a department store. I don't remember her name, and I think it was in the early 80's. I believe her body was found later. Has anyone got the answer; it's for a book I'm writing. Thanks.

  • I'm in the market for another car?

The thing is; I don't know the difference between buy or lease. Which would be better. And how does lease work?

  • For those of you who are on the NASA web site...?

I have found something that you may want to check out.

If you have found the picture, titled "Landforms On Mars", look closely at it. Down at the very bottom of the picture, off to the right, you will see a faint letter 'X'; above that, there is a distinct letter 'Y', and above that is an 'arrow' pointing upward; follow that arrow to the top, and at the upper-right corner, you can see a face. it has slit eyes, and a slit mouth; and possibly a nose. Odd freak of nature, or...?

    Give it a look!

  • Perhaps someone out there can answer this question for me; I'm a 'wanna-be'?

author, and in my efforts to find an agent, I have discovered that they are 'unfair' to writers!

I have spent over three years writing a book. It has 263 pages, and 102,000 words; they have rejected my query, without explanation.

I later learned that they only spent "one (1)" minute reading what I spent hundreds of hours on; working well into the night, making my story interesting and readable.

Obviously, I realize they have others wanting the same as me; but, why just one minute; why not five?

Can someone give me the answer?

Has anyone else had this problem too?

    Thank you.
