I have installed "windows 8, from a installation disk, it's driving me nuts. how can I uninstall it?

Update:

Thanks guys, the trouble is, windows 7 was installed on the computer when I bough it, there was no installation disc; and to you "William K", I don't know what "stardock" is. I'm a senior citizen, and don't know much about computers. I just use it for Email, and banking, and of course this site. I don't need all that nonsense that's on 8.

    HI,

why not just turn Windows 8 back into a windows 7 "Look a like" by using Stardock, this will give you the look and start menu back again, but without doing a windows 7 reinstall.

    worth a try first ???

You can't really uninstall it, you can only remove it, and you need the installation disk for the version of Windows you were running previously.

If you have any data that you want to save, back it up, because the only way I know of to get rid of Windows 8 is to erase the entire hard disk.

Find the installation disk for your previous version of Windows and simply install that over Windows 8 once the installation is complete, you will have to reinstall any programs you had, and then restore your data from the backup.

did you already have an operating system installed on your computer if so turn your computer off then turn it back on but when its turning on look for something that says bios and click the button it tells you to click to open the bios, when the bios is open select the operating system you want to run
