Should I take this job or keep looking?
I use to work at this locally grown, Mexican fast food grille. (Not using the company's name) about a year ago. I was fired maybe 2-3 months into it. I did have problems with anyone, I always kept to myself, I got along with the crew members and so on. I got fired by the general manager, she didn't like me, like I could tell she didn't because I was younger, and I would speak both English and Spanish to be able to talk to the employees in the kitchen. (Even the crew members knew she didn't like me, she was a real tyrant.) She the night she fired me, She put on dishes, to wash them all night (Which I don't mind, she took the guy that usually only does dishes and put him on the front, He couldn't handle it, so a lot of times I had to stop what I was doing and help him out) After I cleaned along with the crew. she asked me to go into the office (I thought it was going to be regarding the request I made to work less nights closing because I would get out at 12 am, and at the time I was a full time high school student and mostly AP and honors classes, and school comes first.) I went into the office and she told me I wasn't happy here and that tonight was my last night. I said ok, that's fine, smiled and left. I returned about 3 months later, to buy food because my friend wanted to eat there, and I ran into a manger that was really nice, he asked me what happened, because everyone was waiting for me to come into my next shift, but she never told anyone that she was going to fire me, and did it without the main mangers/owners knowledge.
A year goes by, and I kept getting those emails about jobs wanting you to apply and one of those were the same company. My cousin in law was looking for a job, so I told her about it, because I had no intention on applying. I was going to move across country for school so I already given my 2 week notice at this retail place I was working at. Long story short I got hit with finical problems and had to remain home but take online classes so I won't fall behind in school. So I remained jobless, at home, taking classes online.
My cousin in law was talking to 2 mangers at the grille, and she told them she knew me, they said they remembered me and if I wanted a job I cold always reapply because the manager was fired, and they liked my work ethic.
I went in and talked to them, I wasn't looking for a job at the time, so I thought it was a blessing to have this job opportunity fall in my hands.
But the more I thought about it the more and more working there seemed less appealing. I remember I would get yelled at for coming in too early (5 minutes) or too late (honestly 1 minute.)
Burning my hands on the hot food, getting yelled at by rude customers.
I worked at the mall, in a retail store, and I got along with everyone, I had fun and I really loved it. and when I gave my 2 week notice, they said I could reapply and have my job when I came home from school. (winter break so on.)
The only difference is at the grille I got more hours a week and got paid like .50 cents more. My parents are telling me to take the job and not go back into retail because it's more money, but I don't want to work a full time job and juggle school again, because I know for a fact that I can not handle it.
Should I just suck it up and take the job ? Or should I take my time, looking for a job I know I am not going to have a miserable time at.

Take your time looking for a job that truly makes you happy. If no luck and you really need money, I would say reapply at the grille.
