Daughter has nightmares of being molested?
And we haven't told her about sex. She's 6 and hasn't witnessed anything sexually violent, or at least I hope. But she has dreams of a crazy man putting his hands down there while she is tied down.
She also has nightmares of bugs coming out of her vagina.
What could this mean?
Help?

Perhaps take her to a child psychologist...or ask her if anyone has touched her. It is unlikely that she's just come up with this.
Sadly, close friends, family members, babysitters....though we do our best to keep our children safe....sometimes people betray and lie and harm children.
I hope that your daughter has not been hurt...but these are strange things, indeed for a little girl to think about.
Any family member might have touched or done bad things to her. I hope not but it's worth finding out so you can help your daughter heal and get over the trauma.
Was there any family reunion or friend gathering where there might have been bugs? Picnic? Hike? Camping? Anything?
I hope you unravel the mystery soon. It must be so scary to hear her talk about this.
