Are 10 spd. cassette lock rings universal?

Like say will a lock ring from a shimano fit a SRAM?

    Sram and Shimano use the same same hub and lockring. Campagnolo is different.

    Although, if memory serves, even though the Campagnolo lockring uses a different tool, it would still work on a 10spd Shimano hub.

    A lock ring from Shimano will NOT fit a SRAM.
