Is there any council in the Bible regarding this?

No.
Superstition is belief without basis. Faith is based on evidence.

Yes, actually. Paul addresses the Athenians, and tells them they are far too superstitious, because they worship many different gods. They even cover all the bases by worshiping and "unknown god."
Acts 17, beginning with verse 22.
For those who are superstitious, they need a bigger God.
Also, you might want to read 2 Timothy 1:7.

Do I think a Christian should be superstitious? No I don't think so...
Can a Christian be superstitious? If they want.
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.'
If you want to enter heaven, then you would know not to be superstitious, because that is just ignorance. If a Christian wants to, then they can. They can do whatever they want, but remember God is watching above.

I see no reason why a Christian should be. I am a Christian, and don't have a superstitious bone in my body.

Superstition defined:a belief in supernatural causality. I think that defines Christianity as well.
