    thanks for asking.

the arab community mastered the Arabic language. they were genius in using the language and writting the poetry with it's full art.

they had special days for criticism these literary works.

when Allah sent his prophet Allah gave him a miracle which is the holy quran.

now arab as experts in the language knew that this can't be written by a human being.

the quran miracle is when he is read in arabic.

there are copies but not translation it is translation of the meaning of the vocabulary. because there is no one can translate the holy quran because no one can assure that Allah means this not that in this verse.

    grammar

    syntax

in the arabic language are taught and the holy quran is a resource.

it is the only book in the world that you can't find a scientific facts goes against it.

first, let me remind you that Holy Torah & Holy Gospel were both reveled in Aramaic, which are now in Arabic. [Gospel later were written in Greek] so, what you see in Holy Quran is the actual roots of the words sample: Salam not Shalom, Ya whoa not Jehovah

AND, Arabic has been picked by the Creator, if He picked Chinese, we Muslims will be all know enough at least to pray.

Since the Qu'ran is supposed to be written in a poetic style, it loses some of it's poetic art during translation.

It's similar to try to translate a Japanese pun into English - you probably wouldn't get why 「イルカがいるか」 would be funny if I just told you that it means, "Is there a dolphin?"

Any translation will have flaws. There are things that just don't carry from one language to another. English is among the worst to translate into, because we have way too many words.

That is why good jewish families send their kids to hebrew school. They believe the torah must be read in hebrew to truly be understood.

Muslims , until even very recent decades, mostly prohibited the translation of the Qur'an. They would certainly say the Aribic is of more authority.

If you really knew God you would know that nothing in the Quran is holy it is all stolen from the bible and put in its unholy language.

Why would a god choose to send its message in only one language? It simply doesn't make sense. So this god is going to leave it up to humans to translate the message??? What about the other 95% who don't speak that language?? It's ****** up.
