bible verse; stoning rape victoms if they didn't marry?
someone told me that there is a bible story where if a woman gets raped, then doesn't marry her rapist, she gets stoned?
I know the old testament has some pretty off the wall stories that can be a bit of a culture shock to our times so i'm not surprised.
Please tell me where, if true, this is in the bible.

The only reference to stoning of a rape victim is in Deuteronomy 22:23-24.
22:23 If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;
22:24 Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.
This is not stoning because she doesnt marry him, but because this is not seen as rape. There is an assumption of guilt on her part. That's still abominable, but different than what you state.
There are several reference to rapist marrying their victims. Apparently, as long as the man paid her father and maried her, he was good to go. The victim got no say in the matter.
Yeah, that old Testament God was quite the guy with his rules.

You are confusing two things.
1) If a woman was raped in the city, but she can't produce a witness who will testify that they heard her screaming for help, she could be stoned for having sex outside of marriage. If she is raped in the country, they will give her the benefit of the doubt and not prosecute her.
2) If a man was convicted of rape of a woman who is not already married or betrothed, he must marry the victim and pay a fine to her father. Her consent was not needed.

Christ in the New Testament proved that is false. He stopped the stoning of a woman that had committed adultery. You have to remember that the Bible was written by men. Many of their laws and customs were included. That doesn't mean they are God's rules or customs. Christ is about love and forgiveness, NOT hate.

No, it isn't true.
The basic idea behind the biblical legislation is that, if somebody rapes a woman, he has an obligation towards her, and so he must marry her and support her thereafter. There is nothing about stoning the woman if she refuses to marry him.

It's make the victim pay twice, jesus requested not to do that, do not repay evil for evil ... I was a rape victim ... and I passed kidney stones ... The strength was given to evilness rather than for our greater good, many people notice and many are suffering because of it ... We can only do the best we can in a given situation ... not just but surely true God is aware ...

That is a lie. Who told you this? That makes no sense whatsoever, but you know what does make sense? In the old days you could be stoned for spreading false reports or lies like that.
Not meaning you, but you as in well, just.. anyone!

Please, some of you.....you do God a disservice when you speak without knowledge of the topic.......The scriptures you reference display the "penalty" for the transgression of both parties, meaning they BOTH engaged in the immoral act willingly, for we see the penalty for "true" rape (in the sense that we use it today) spelled out prior to that passage as death to the ONE transgressor for HIS act, this denotes the woman as being a victim, not a willing participant. Two passages, two different acts, and two different penalties....when you do further research on this book of the bible you get the completed story (which there is more to) and it makes much more sense. I would gladly take more time to explain these scriptures to the "truly interested"......not so much to those only willing to display the "half truths" to fulfill their personal needs to serve as apostates.

I think you might be reading out of context. It might mean that she had her baby stoned while it was still inside her. She might have had people throw rocks at her womb to kill the baby.
