What kind of lawyer should I call?
My neighbor's sump pump spews rusty water onto my property 24x7x365. This has been ongoing for years, and I have to incur the costs of cleaning driveway (it's blacktop, but now burnt orange), the gutter, and the street in front of my house. My cars all have burnt orange residue on them as well. His is the only house in the neighborhood that does this.
I talked to the neighbor. He said it was my problem.
I've contacted the HOA. They said it was my problem.
I've contacted the City. They said it was my problem.
I've contacted the EPA. They said it was my problem.
I need a lawyer to get someone to take legal action. What type of lawyer should I get?
Thanks!

A real estate lawyer that is familiar with the laws on collected water and filing an injunction that would injoin your neighbor from dumping collected water on your property.

Real estate lawyers generally deal with purchases and sales, not litigation. This is tort law that provides for money damages. See a civil litigation attorney with experience in land and home issues. Also, take photographs of the damage caused by your neighbor's sump pump and gather any bills you have paid as a result of their failure to maintain their sump pump.
